Rules & Standards

Baycrest State Roleplay is built on realistic, quality roleplay. Read these rules carefully and follow them at all times.

🚫 General Rules

  • No RDM/VDM – Random Deathmatch (RDM) and Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) are strictly prohibited.
  • No Fail RP – Roleplay must be realistic and believable at all times. Do not act in ways that break immersion or are physically impossible.
  • No Metagaming – Do not use out-of-character (OOC) knowledge in-character (IC).
  • No Powergaming – Forcing actions on others without giving them a chance to respond is not allowed.
  • No Exploiting or Bug Abuse – Any form of exploiting, glitching, or abuse of bugs will result in an immediate ban.
  • No Cheating or Modding – Use of unauthorized mods, cheats, or scripts is strictly forbidden.

🧍 Character & Roleplay Conduct

  • Use Realistic Names – No joke, troll, or famous character names.
  • One Life Rule – If you are downed and revived (by EMS or respawn), you must forget the events leading to your death.
  • Respect the New Life Rule (NLR) – After dying and respawning, you may not return to or seek revenge for the incident.
  • Fear RP is Required – Act with fear for your life when threatened with lethal force.

� Communication Rules

  • No OOC in Voice Chat – Use /ooc or designated OOC chat for out-of-character communication.
  • Respect Staff and Players – Harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
  • English Only in Voice Chat – Please speak English in public voice chats for moderation purposes.

🔫 Crime & Combat Rules

  • Robbery Cooldowns – There is a 30-minute cooldown between robberies per player/group.
  • No Crime in Green Zones – No illegal activities in safe zones (e.g., hospitals, police stations).
  • No Combat Logging – Logging out to avoid RP consequences is strictly forbidden.
  • Hostage Situations Require RP – Must have quality RP and valid reasoning for taking hostages.

📜 Staff & Ban Policy

  • Staff Have Final Say – Do not argue with staff decisions in-game. Use proper channels for appeals.
  • Ban Evasion = Permanent Ban – Attempting to bypass bans will lead to a permanent ban.
  • Recording Encouraged – For reporting rule-breaking, video evidence is highly helpful.
